Rail Preheating System

 

Parmaprogetti is an international patent owner of a preheting system to heat rails during rail laying.
The new rail is heated along its entire length (about 140m) to a controlled and adjustable temperature of about 35°C. This ensures that the rail is thermally controlled, preventing any warping as a result of fluctuations in the temperature of the environment and mechanical stress.The system has been approved by Italian FS (National Railways).
